To live with art object from Jungil Hong is something truly special. We are so thankful for Jung’s powerful presence in our lives and are always in awe of her work (there is actually probably nothing she can’t make), and we were so thrilled when she again agreed to adapt her stunning linear textile designs to our signature colors for this Fall.
The blanket is a play of eliding forms, a choreographed flow of geometries. Lines jump from ridge to ridge like long grasses in a meadow, wind pulling against their earthbound tether. Each face is distinct in the way it reveals the complex relationship of warp and weft.
