The MKI Mini used a variety of trim designs before design and production methods became standardised. The stitched flutes on the cover run all the way to the front of the skirt as pictured here. This design was also used throughout production on the Mini Vans and Pickups.

We would suggest that you strip one seat first to see exactly how it is fitted then assemble the diaphragms and foams and then fit the covers in a dry run before final fitment, leaving one seat complete for reference purposes.
